Please send you child to school every day with a Backpack that does not have wheels. On the outside of your child’s backpack write your child’s first and last name, school name (Meadow Woods Elementary School) and teacher’s name (Ms. Klein) with permanent marker. Your child will be given a folder that will need to be brought to school daily in his or her backpack. This folder will contain daily correspondence from your child’s teacher. Please check this folder daily!
Please send in a complete change of clothing (these may be kept in school or in your child's backpack. Please write your child’s first and last name on the labels of all clothing items with permanent marker. Also, please write your child’s first and last name on the labels of jackets, coats, sweaters, etc. with permanent marker.
Please send in any items that your child may use/need to assist him/her with walking, eating, etc. These items will be sent home with your child daily, unless you indicate that you have duplicates at home and these items may remain at school.
If your child is not fully potty trained please send in pull-ups, at least 2 a day and a box of wet wipes.
Please do not write your child’s name on the following items: When sending these items in on the 1st day of school please put them in a bag & write your child’s name on the bag.
· One box of tissues (Kleenex). · Two boxes of the fat Crayola crayons – 8 count. · Two Large Elmers glue sticks. · Two 4-ounce bottles of Elmers white glue. · Two boxes of “Dixie cups” 5-ounce size · One package Crayola washable markers · One package of colored Dry Erase Markers
If your last name begins with the letters A-M please send in the following items:
· One package of large paper plates · One package of small paper plates
If your last name begins with the letters N-Z, please send in the following items:
· One box of gallon sized freezer Ziploc bags · One box of quart sized freezer Ziploc bags
A Daily Snack. Each week a different parent will be responsible for providing snack for the class for the week. A list of which parent is responsible for what week will be sent home the first day of school.
